Most recently served as NASA Chief Technologist, advising agency leadership on strategic R&D. Proven track record delivering on disruptive innovations in commercial spaceflight, lunar exploration, planetary defense, aviation autonomy, and launch vehicle/hypersonic programs. Expert in technology strategy, program capture, federal engagement, and building partnerships across the public-private ecosystem with successful capture of more than a billion dollars of government and commercial contracts. Prior roles at NASA, Reliable Robotics, Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic, and SpaceWorks Enterprises. Author of dozens of technical papers and presented to more than two hundred different global audiences. Received a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Emory University.
