Chief Fernando Palacios has more than 20 years of experience in the fire service, started as a Firefighter-Paramedic followed up into Training Department, Fire Prevention Bureau and now days as Chief of Department. The Queretaro Fire Department with 7 stations, serves one of the fastest growing Industrial, Commercial and Housing Metro Areas in the Country. He´s a Certified Fire Inspector as well as a Fire Investigator. Also as Chief of the Department, he leads the State Task Force, which deals with different deployments as Wildland, Search & Rescue and IMT.
Chief Palacios is a true believer of Technology as an ally for the Fire Service, creating through Google, an Emergency Management Electronic Platform that is donated to several Fire Departments across México; which has allowed his Fire Department in Mexico and others to comply with NFPA standards and develop the Community Risk Assessments that promotes International Industrial and Commercial Investments in the State of Querétaro.
